New website offers Cardiff foodies a way to local culinary delights
A new website, Yourlastmouthful.com, showcasing only
the best food businesses in Cardiff, Wales and the surrounding
areas was launched today.
The foodies' website directory only features establishments that
have been reviewed and awarded a green spoon of approval, based on
a traffic light system (with red and orange not making the
grade).
Visitors to the website will also be able to take advantage of the
exclusive 'deal of the week' at a green spoon approved company by
printing a redeemable voucher; regular competitions to win prizes
provided by local businesses; and the latest news and events, such
as special gastro events and new menu details.
A basic listing is free, with the option to upgrade a company
profile to include contact details, photos and more for a small
fee. All listings are promoted through Yourlastmouthful.com's
thriving social media following on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare
and Google+.
Dan Craft, owner of PastaPot which was recently reviewed, said:
"We are delighted to now have an opportunity to be a part of this
exciting new website - the way in which it only features
establishments that have received a 'green spoon' or above means
that visitors to the site have a source of information on local
eateries that they can really trust, which can only be good news
for us and the other businesses featured!"
Food blogger, Nikki Vivian, founder of Yourlastmouthful.com, said:
"I have a passion for good, quality food which is why I started my
food blog. From this and with a growing audience, I was inspired to
create a business that would benefit the local community.
"As all businesses are reviewed before they are accepted onto the
website directory, the public can be confident that every listing
is of a high standard and includes an honest and trustworthy
evaluation of the food, ambiance and price."
